Talk title: We all need more space: engaging the public through planetariums and museums

Dr. Megan McCullen

Dr. Megan McCullen is director of the WSU Planetarium and associate director of the Grosscup Museum of Anthropology at Wayne State University in Detroit.  After getting involved in outreach at the Natural History Museum at the University of Illinois as an undergraduate, her interests and skills continued to pull her towards public outreach and informal STEM education.  She will talk about her own path to running a planetarium and the impacts that outreach and engagement have on our scientific fields and on our communities.
